How much does it cost to attend NTTS?

It depends on the training program you pick. NTTS has a range of courses, with full and part-time schedules, financial aid and more.

What is the class schedule?

There are many options available for class times. We offer both weekday classes and nights and weekend classes. The best way to find out a class schedule that works for you is to discuss your scheduling needs with an Admissions Representative.

How long is the course?

NTTS offers many different truck driver training programs, each with varying lengths depending on the type of CDL training you’re looking for.

Can NTTS help me find a job after graduation?

NTTS offers placement assistance for careers in the trucking industry to students and graduates.

Trucking company recruiters routinely visit NTTS campuses to provide industry insights, answer student questions and provide information on local and regional positions, employee benefits and other opportunities. Many trucking company recruiters who visit NTTS also conduct in-person interviews with qualified NTTS students.

How do I enroll at NTTS?

What is tuition reimbursement?

It is something that many trucking companies offer as a way to pay back employees for education expenses. Usually, tuition reimbursement is paid out on a monthly basis as long as the driver remains employed at the company. Some companies will even pay lenders/financial institutions directly so you don’t have to worry. There is a maximum amount each company will pay out also.

Multiple trucking companies offer tuition reimbursement to NTTS graduates. This tuition reimbursement comes with a maximum repayment range of $6,000.00 to $15,000.00 and is paid in monthly payments of $150.00 to $250.00.

Can I use my VA benefits toward the cost of CDL training at NTTS?

Yes.

NTTS is approved by the Division of Veterans Affairs accepting POST-9/11 GI Bill® benefits. Military veterans may also be eligible for additional financial aid, such as the New York State Veterans Tuition Award.

Do I need a CDL permit before starting training at NTTS?

No, in fact most of our students have no prior truck driving experience. CDL permit preparation is included in the CDL training courses offered at NTTS. No CDL permit, no problem!
