The I-Sim Shifting Simulator allows students to practice perfecting their shifting and fuel economy. Utilizing the simulator, students can learn various types of transmissions and can apply this knowledge to their actual driving during training. The I-Sim Simulator can be used to simulate upgrades, downgrades, transmissions (from 8 spd to 18 spd shifting patterns). The computerized screen can be used to show students progress, shifting patterns and fuel usage.

Buffalo

NTTS' Buffalo facility adds realism to its driver training with a 32-door cross dock terminal. The terminal building includes administrative offices, classrooms, a resource center, and a fully equpped maintenance shop to service its tractors, trailers and straight trucks.

Most courses taken at NTTS include Safe Forklift Operations. You can learn proper weight distribution, loading and unloading of cargo and cargo securement. Training involves close quarter maneuvering with pallet racks, proper pre-trip inspection, and advanced safety techniques at our Buffalo campus.
