Availability of trucking jobs likely related to improving economy - Saturday, June 19, 2010

Liverpool (WSYR-TV) - Economists and industry analysts say that the increase in trucks on the road hauling freight is a sign the economy is starting to pick up. With more products to pull, companies, including ones in Central New York, are looking for more drivers to fill the need.

Wanted: 400,000 truck drivers - Wednesday, June 09, 2010

WANTED: 400,000 TRUCK DRIVERS

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Can't find a job? Maybe it's time to take your search on the road.

The U.S. trucking industry will need to hire about 200,000 drivers by the end of this year, and will need to add another 200,000 by the end of 2011, according to the state of logistics report from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

NTTS APPROVED TO TRAIN MILITARY SPOUSES - Friday, January 15, 2010

National Tractor Trailer School (NTTS)of Liverpool and Buffalo, New York is pleased to announce their approved participation in the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program.  This approval enables spouses of Active Duty members of the Department of Defense and spouses of Activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components to now receive up to $6000.00 to attend NTTS.

 

The period of eligibility for spouses of Guard and Reserve members is from the date of the Alert or Warning Order for Military Recall or Mobilization, through activation and deployment until 180 days following De-Mobilization.  Spouses of the severely injured, ill, wounded, killed in action (KIA), prisoners of war (POW) or missing in action (MIA) are also eligible.

NTTS, along with the NY National Guard, announces a night with the Syracuse Crunch

Join us at the War Memorial at OnCenter in Syracuse, NY on December 5th at 7:30 p.m. to cheer on the Syracuse Crunch when they battle the Binghamton Senators.  A representative from NTTS will be on hand to answer questions about our programs and discuss the NY National Guard's Drive the Guard program.

PTDI Board of Directors held its meeting June 25th - Thursday, June 25, 2009

Trucking school sees large rise in enrollment - Wednesday, March 11, 2009
